DIY paper Christmas trees

At this fabulous blog I found an idea I just had to try!

It's Christmas trees made out of paper cones! Just roll a cone out of stiff paper, (the girl in the original source used cereal boxes I used crafting paper) tape, cut and decorate with whatever your heart desire.

I used paper twine on the black one on the right, tinsel on the one in the back and on the front one I stripped a fabric flower and glued. Since this photo I have added silver on the tips of the leafs.

For this one I brushed the cone in craft glue, rolled it in rice and spray painted it the next day with silver spray. Love it!

These three are (from the left) pages from an old Swedish dictionary, the small in the back have some kinda burlap-y fabric cut in random pieces. The star on the top is made from a pinecone I dismantled and glued together. So easy and so pretty. The medium sized tree at the front is made from strands of beads just glued on the cone.

This is by far the easiest and most fun crafting I've done in a long time. It is so quick and you can use whatever you have lying around the house. I didn't buy one s-i-n-g-l-e thing for all these trees!
Gotta love it when it's free!

    1. Lana- det är ju jättelätta att göra själv! Bara rulla hårt papper till en strut, tejpa ihop och dekorera med vad som helst.
